About Chuck Lasker

I earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering from Clarkson University in 1984. I spent six years as an engineer before jumping ship and going into marketing. For 10 years I was VP of Marketing and Operations for a national health products company. In early 2003, I left the corporate world and went full time as an independent consultant, focusing on helping businesses with their ecommerce websites.

I’m a writer, trainer, social media addict, Inbound Marketing Certified Professional and the official tutorial creator for Miva Merchant and Post Affiliate Pro. I have spoken nationally on ecommerce and social media, including at the annual Miva Merchant User Conferences.

About David Lasker

I have always had a love of computers and new technologies. This eventually led me to the Internet and creating websites as a hobby throughout high school. After a couple semesters at Indiana University Kelley School of Business, I decided I preferred self-employment. In 2004, I began working alongside my father as an ecommerce consultant.

I am self-taught in Miva Merchant coding, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PHP. I have a positive working relationship with Miva Merchant (the company) and most third party Miva Merchant developers. I’ve worked with Miva Merchant 5.5 since beta and have used just about every module available while designing, redesigning, optimizing and fixing literally hundreds of websites.
